We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our Addiction Recovery Center, an extension of our dynamic Behavioral Health department. The successful candidate will be part of an established hospital-employed group practice, working alongside experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, addiction counselors, therapists, nursing, and case managers.
About the Role- Provide comprehensive treatment for addictions, including medication-assisted therapy for alcohol and opioid dependency when recommended.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design treatment plans for varying levels of intensity, including drug and alcohol education, substance abuse, and addiction.
- Teach residents through our fully-accredited Psychiatry, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine residency programs at the Hospital.
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering.
Fellowship training in Addiction Medicine is required. Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Psychiatry-trained candidates are welcome to apply. Outpatient position available, with inpatient opportunities available if desired.
