About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthetic care to facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
  • Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Develop and implement anesthetic plans of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluations and care.
  • Select, obtain, and administer anesthetic plans of care, including induction, maintenance, and emergence phase anesthesia.
  • Recognize alterations in physiologic responses to surgical procedures and/or anesthetics, take appropriate action, and notify responsible physicians as indicated.

Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
