Aquatics Manager Job Summary

The Landings Club, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatics Manager to oversee the operation of our pools and aquatic programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service and safety for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop and implement aquatic programs for members and their guests, including swim lessons, water aerobics, and other recreational activities.
  • Pool Operations: Oversee the maintenance and operation of our pools, including water quality, chemical balances, and equipment maintenance.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train aquatics staff, including lifeguards, swim instructors, and other support staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure the safety of our members and guests by enforcing pool rules and regulations, and responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including fitness, youth, and membership, to ensure seamless delivery of aquatic programs and services.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the aquatic program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective financial management.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience managing and supervising a resort-style aquatic facility, with a degree in a related field such as recreation, hospitality, or business.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, as well as current Lifeguard and Lifeguard Training Certification.
  • Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and TEAMS, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
