Childcare Cook

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Childcare Cook to join our team at The Learning Experience #332. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious meals for our children, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Meal Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare healthy meals that meet the nutritional needs of our children.
• Food Safety and Handling: Maintain and track food allergies for each child, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Inventory Management: Partner with our Center Leadership team to purchase food and supplies, and maintain inventory records.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to parents and children, and demonstrate a positive attitude towards our community.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking.
• Certifications: Possesses a food handling certificate or ability to receive within 90 days of hire.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
