Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient setting. As an Outpatient LPN, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver routine and standardized care to patients with predictable outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records, notes, and physician orders.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients/families to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to unit-based quality improvement.
  • Identify own learning needs and maintain continuing education records.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
  • 2 years of LPN experience required.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
