This is a travel job opportunity in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The position requires 13 weeks of commitment, working 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts and days off as scheduled.

Main Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation: Review patient medical history, doctor's orders, and previous imaging studies to ensure the correct MRI procedure is conducted.
  • Explain the MRI Procedure: Ensure patients understand the process, addressing any questions or concerns to reduce anxiety.
  • Patient Safety: Verify patient identity, check for implanted devices, allergies to contrast agents, or pregnancy to ensure safety.
  • Prepare the MRI Room: Ensure the machine and equipment are ready for the procedure.
Conducting MRI Scans
  • Operate the MRI Machine: Adjust settings to obtain high-quality images as prescribed by the physician.
  • Position Patients: Ensure patients are comfortable and aligned to capture the correct images while adhering to safety standards.
  • Administer Contrast Agents: Follow physician instructions to enhance image clarity, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
  • Monitor the MRI Process: Confirm quality imaging, making adjustments to settings or positioning as necessary.
Patient Safety and Comfort
  • Ensure Patient Safety: Verify no ferrous or metal objects are present on the patient during the MRI procedure.

Post-Procedure Care
