Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.

• Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as provide patient education and counseling.
• Process Patient Information: You will accurately and efficiently process patient information, including demographic data, medication lists, and insurance information.
• Maintain Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, medication dispensing, and other relevant information.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a positive patient experience.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
