Our modern facilities are dedicated to the episodic management of acute medical conditions and injuries, as well as workers' compensation and occupational health services. Each center is equipped with an onsite laboratory and in-house x-ray capabilities. AFC also oversees AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF), and this role collaborates directly with a franchised business location. Specific responsibilities and benefits may differ among franchises.Position SummaryThe primary objective is to deliver exceptional care to all patients. This role includes guiding staff in supporting patient care and providing oversight to advanced practice providers. Active involvement in marketing efforts and community representation for the center is also essential.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care
  • Oversee laboratory operations – complete a training course to become a certified laboratory director and ensure adherence to regulations
  • Manage the various aspects of running a busy medical practice – ensure appropriate follow-up, conduct chart reviews, and enforce policy compliance
  • Guarantee that the center is equipped with the necessary tools, supplies, and medications for effective patient treatment
  • Ensure that medical records are accurately and thoroughly documented – provide retraining for staff physicians as necessary
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and train new medical providers and staff
  • Compile quality assurance data and address findings with staff providers as needed
  • Supervise Occupational Health and Travel Medicine Programs
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (with a minimum of 1 year experience in ER/Urgent Care)
  • Exceptional communication skills with staff, patients, and families
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice, along with a DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently
