Job Summary

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia - PEO, Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing support and training to direct support professionals, ABA implementers, and other individuals who support the families we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee all areas of programming, including training of direct support professionals and person-centered strategies consultants.
  • Develop and facilitate training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) using discrete trial training and natural environment training models.
  • Identify and provide resources and support information for clients and their families.
  • Provide model teaching and direct instructional support, including practicum supervision, class instruction, and in-service instruction.
  • Develop and implement assessment tools to conduct functional assessments and analyze data to develop behavior strategies.
  • Provide ongoing training and supervision of paraprofessional staff in ABA principles and methodology.
  • Create data collection systems to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all consumers.
  • Develop behavior plans and treatment plans for all consumers, focusing on teaching and antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior.
  • Meet with supervised staff to discuss consumer issues and provide support as needed.
  • Review and sign off on behavior plan training for field staff and provide field supervision.
  • Provide consultative services and maintain communication with other constituents, including support staff, parents, and community agencies.
  • Stay current with new literature, research findings, and resources, and maintain BCBA certification.
  • Maintain data, paperwork, and communication between personal care staff and families, and submit required documentation according to program guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Current BCBA Certification from the BACB.
  • Comfortability with conflict and skilled in conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a BCBA.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexible work hours may be available.
