Compensation

Hourly wage is commensurate with experience. While prior experience is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for working with older adults.

Key ResponsibilitiesWELLNESS MANAGEMENT:
  1. Assist the Wellness Director in managing resident medication and medical records in compliance with policies and state regulations.
  2. Conduct bi-weekly checks on medication carts, including PRN medications and creams.
  3. Perform daily reviews of the medication reorder sheet.
  4. Order oxygen and related supplies as needed.
  5. Conduct weekly audits of medication administration records (MAR) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  6. Facilitate medication changes based on physician orders, including communication with pharmacies.
  7. Prepare and send necessary documentation with residents attending medical appointments.
  8. Maintain good standing with the CNA/CMA registry.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
  1. Welcome guests, residents, vendors, and deliveries at the front desk.
  2. Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries.
  3. Conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
  4. Maintain records of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and schedule monthly training sessions.
  5. Track certifications for CPR and First Aid.
  6. Assist the Executive Director with employee file audits.
  7. Manage care staff scheduling and shift adjustments.
  8. Replenish necessary forms for operational needs.
  9. Participate in on-call duties once a month.
  10. Assist with facility tours as required.
Qualifications
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. High School Diploma is required.
  3. A satisfactory criminal background check is mandatory.
  4. A physical examination by a licensed physician is required.
  5. A negative drug screening is necessary.
  6. CPR and First Aid certification are required.
  7. Professional attire is expected.
  8. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with residents, families, and staff.
  9. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving walking, standing, reaching, pushing, and grasping.
  10. Understanding of the risks associated with exposure to infectious materials and chemicals.
  11. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
