Echocardiography Technician (RDCS) - Acute Care Setting

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician with experience in Acute Care to join our team. This role presents a remarkable chance to enhance your sonography expertise while progressing in your career as an echocardiography professional. The travel assignment will involve utilizing ultrasound technology and other imaging modalities to obtain diagnostic images of the heart. You will prioritize patient comfort and strive to alleviate their anxiety during procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for echocardiograms, operating diagnostic machinery, and assisting physicians in interpreting results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply ultrasound gel to the patient's chest in preparation for imaging.
  • Conduct echocardiograms to assess various aspects of cardiac health, including chamber size, valve functionality, and blood circulation.
  • Identify and recognize common cardiac irregularities.
Qualifications:
  • Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • A minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience within the last 5 years
