Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our team at ConMed North America. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of components to produce sub-assemblies or finished products that meet requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble handpieces, optical products, and various types of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic products according to written specifications and procedures.
  • Capable of reading blueprints and following work instructions.
  • Assemble, prepare, and mold various types of wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and products throughout the production process.
  • Perform production tests on various assemblies, subassemblies, and final products.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and manual, semi-automatic, automatic assembly test equipment.
  • Understand and comply with ESD requirements.
  • Must be willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment.
  • Must be able to work all scheduled overtime.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines as required.
  • Performs other related tasks including housekeeping tasks required to keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Observes all safety rules and regulations including the wearing of protective equipment when required.
  • Sustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities.
  • Communicates with the other shifts, if applicable, the status of parts, equipment, and any other matters that might have an impact on their job.
Requirements
  • A minimum 2 years' experience as an electronic assembler with proven soldering proficiency.
  • Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops, uses hands, and lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.
  • Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.

$17.25 per hour
