About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Low Country Aerospace in Savannah, GA. This is a full-time on-site position that requires operating machines, machining parts, conducting milling operations, and ensuring quality control of machined components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, or other related equipment with proficiency.
  • Read, interpret, and write CNC programs using G-code or other programming languages.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
Technical Skills:
  • CNC Machine Operation: Proficient in operating CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, or other related equipment.
  • Programming: Ability to read, interpret, and write CNC programs using G-code or other programming languages.
  • Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Measurement Tools: Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
