Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses. As a key member of our showroom team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our store, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the appearance of our showroom interior and exterior, including light cleaning, vacuuming, and tidying up.
  • Perform daily tasks such as cleaning and maintaining sanitary conditions of restrooms and breakrooms, emptying trash receptacles, and cleaning glass entry doors.
  • Respond to customer requests and report any maintenance or environmental issues to management.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge and skills, and assist with training and development of other associates.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
  • Prior related experience and/or training preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, and maintain a neat appearance.
Work Environment

This role operates in a showroom and office environment, requiring frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee must be able to work in various positions, including continuously walking, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, kneeling, stooping, crawling, climbing, grasping/gripping, and frequently lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
