Join Our Team as a Nursing Student

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nursing Student to join our team as a Patient Care Technician. As a participating hospital of Ernest Health, our patients are family, and we are passionate about providing top-quality care at the bedside.

About the Role

Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide direct bedside care to patients, integrating our hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice. Your primary responsibility will be to provide care to patients who are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct bedside care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
  • Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Participate in patient education and support
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • C.N.A certification preferred; C.N.A certification required in SNF, SC setting
  • CPR Certification required
  • One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred
