Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Field Technician to join our team at JUMPSTART COMMUNICATIONS LLC. As a COAX/Fiber Splicer, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery and quality of telecommunications services to our customers.

Compensation Package

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $70,000 and $100,000 per year, based on experience and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cable Installation: Place and install coaxial or fiber cable, ensuring accurate splicing and termination of active and passive CATV equipment.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair damaged cable and related issues in the outside plant network.
  • Communication: Frequently communicate with management on workload status and collaborate with other technicians as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reading blueprints, CATV design maps, and basic electronic designs.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to operate aerial lift and other related equipment, climb ladders, and perform routine construction work such as pulling rope/cables.
