About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients within the scope of practice and perform functions in accordance with current accepted practice, licensure, certification, credentialing, and granted privileges.
- Provide treatment of persons throughout the life span as appropriate to discipline and facility setting.
- Provide telepsychiatry services for patients at other IHSC facilities as needed and as the local facility allows, only in the states the provider is licensed.
- May be expected to respond to and coordinate response to medical emergencies.
- Prescribes and monitors psychiatric medication treatment services including monitoring the side effects of medication and/or adverse reactions.
- MD or DO Degree or be certified by ECFMG.
- Active New Jersey Medical License.
- Current DEA registration.
- Board certification or eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active BLS certification.
- U.S. Citizen.
