Risk Adjustment/Quality Programs Educator

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled Risk Adjustment/Quality Programs Educator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.
Job Summary:The Risk Adjustment/Quality Programs Educator will be responsible for providing education and training to healthcare providers and staff on risk adjustment and quality programs. This includes developing and implementing educational materials, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs to promote accurate clinical documentation and risk adjustment compliance
- Provide training and support to healthcare providers and staff on risk adjustment and quality programs
- Collaborate with the Risk Adjustment and Quality teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and County laws and regulations related to coding and documentation guidelines for Risk Adjustment and Quality
- Coordinate with the Risk Adjustment Coders and Manager of Risk Adjustment Auditing and Coding to follow-up with providers on opportunities identified in their reviews
- Promote efforts to improve provider compliance with CMS requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the total provider experience
- Provides clear, concise, and professional communication to varying audiences depending on the project and its goals
- Demonstrates excellent time management, attends and participates in required meetings which may require travel and deadlines including hours outside of standard business hours and/or above a 40 hour week
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder or similar
- 3 weeks PTO & 7 paid holidays
