Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. As a Truck Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, including brakes, lights, seals, refrigeration units, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers, box trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with vehicle systems, including electrical, fabrication, sheet metal, and mechanical components.
  • Replace flooring, rub rails, doors, and door trim, as well as repair roofs, panels, nose panels, and upper rails.
  • Conduct welding, electrical, and fabrication tasks as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions and a good driving record.
