Nurse Practitioner Allergy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Allergy and Immunology department at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). As a key member of our comprehensive healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, complex care coordination, and administrative functions to deliver high-quality, efficient, and complex care coordination for adult patients with allergy and immunology conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with allergy and immunology conditions.
- Collaborate with the Allergy Immunology Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, documenting patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Participate in teaching and research activities to advance the field of allergy and immunology.
- Minimum two (2) years recent experience working as an RN in one of the following settings: Allergy and Immunology, Dermatology, Ambulatory, Critical Care.
- NP 2 must have six (6) months of NP experience.
- Minimum two (2) years recent experience working as an RN in one of the following settings: Allergy and Immunology, Dermatology, Ambulatory, Critical Care; OR a minimum of six months of recent (within last three years) experience as an NP in Allergy and/or Immunology in an ambulatory setting.
- Compassion and interest in allergy and immunology.
- California driver's license (CDL) if required for position.
- Must hold current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work.
- Accepted Certifications for this position: (A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC).
