Job Summary

An Inspector (Fully Qualified) is a critical role that requires a strong commitment to safety and safe work practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring the safety of themselves, coworkers, the general public, and Company property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and construction of gas and/or electric systems.
  • Ensure the safety and reliability of these systems.
  • Work closely with others in a team environment, including interaction with employees, customers, agencies, and trade allies.
Requirements
  • At least three years' experience in gas and/or electric construction and maintenance, or completion of a formal training program.
  • Ability to demonstrate skills on an appropriate test.
  • Satisfactory work record.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties.
  • Pass job tests, obtain licenses and certificates, and computer skills applicable to the work performed.
  • Follow instructions and function in a team environment.
  • Respond to calls outside of regular hours in all types of weather.
  • Available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to assist or respond to emergency situations.
  • Comply with Company rules.
  • Ensure the safety of self, coworkers, the general public, and Company property.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL or other certifications or licenses required for the specific job.
