Role Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all operations within the unit during assigned shifts. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing practices in line with established protocols, serving as a resource for staff while embodying the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates patient admissions and discharges to optimize care delivery.
- Engages in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Fosters teamwork among staff and management to enhance service and outcomes.
- Embraces a patient-first approach and participates in service recovery when necessary.
- Implements nursing strategies to boost staff engagement and patient care quality.
- Provides input on hiring, training, and performance evaluations of new staff.
- Oversees staff scheduling and manages labor resources in accordance with patient needs.
- Assists in maintaining inventory and managing supplies and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Registered Nurse diploma.
No travel is required for this position.
