Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Social Work Specialist to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a specialist, you will provide advanced-level social work services to patients and their families, addressing complex issues related to medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, addressing topics such as coping strategies, stress management, and mental health promotion.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare settings, preferably in clinical social work.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support certification and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution.
  • Able to apply evidence-based practices and research findings to inform treatment decisions.

Estimated Salary: $60,900 - $90,400 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
