About the Role

Marotta Controls is seeking an experienced Reliability and Safety Engineer to join our team of experts in designing and developing precision control components and systems for the aerospace and defense industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct system safety assessments and reliability predictions for new development programs
  • Perform failure mode analyses and generate reports for IPT and customer review
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify safety critical items and offer design alternatives
  • Review customer reliability, safety, and maintainability requirements and provide analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in Reliability, Maintainability, and Safety engineering analysis in the aerospace industry
  • New product development experience in aerospace/military industry
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
  • Experience using reliability analysis tools like Relex, Weibull++, and Reliasoft XFRACAS
Work Environment

This role requires working in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. The Engineer will use standard office equipment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
