Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a District-Wide Speech-Language Pathologist. This is a unique opportunity to work with preschoolers in various elementary campuses in the Burnsville, MN area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students referred for possible speech and language needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized education plans to address identified speech and language disorders.
  • Collaboration and Consultation
    • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to parents and administrators as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Minnesota SLP license from the Department of Health.
    • PELSB license (Tier 2, 3 or 4).
  • Skills and Attributes
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Solid organizational and time management skills.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of Minnesota Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
    • Professionalism and accountability.
