Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Laboratory Chemist to join our team at Tyson Foods Inc. This role will involve performing various analytical, microbiological, and quality system procedures in a Food Safety Laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and repetitive operations such as doing lab tests.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • College level courses or degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, and/or Physical Sciences, as well as laboratory experience.
  • 1 year of hands-on experience working in a food safety laboratory.
  • General knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Applications.
