Cosmetology Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cosmetologist - Cosmetology Mentor to join our team at Paul Mitchell Schools. As a mentor and educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of beauty professionals.

• Instruct and guide students in all aspects of cosmetology, including hair, skin, and nails.
• Conduct classroom sessions and oversee practical training in our clinic classrooms.
• Prepare students for the state board exam and provide individualized feedback and support.
• Develop and implement curriculum to ensure students meet industry standards.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.

• A valid cosmetology license and instructor license in the state of Michigan.
• 3+ years of experience in the cosmetology industry, with proficiency in hair cutting, color, and chemical services as well as nail and skin care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• A positive attitude, collaborative skills, and reliability.
• Consistency in adhering to company policies and procedures.
