Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Sonographer III with a robust background in maternal fetal medicine to become a vital member of our diagnostics team at Community Health Partners. As part of a collaborative environment, you will utilize advanced medical imaging technologies to perform sonographic imaging procedures, providing essential support to both staff and patients while adhering to all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate is required.
  • Must meet the prerequisites for certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography, demonstrating required competencies, is essential.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.

Department Specific Requirements:

General Sonographer in Medical Imaging. One of the following certifications is required:

  • RDMS(AB) - ARDMS RDMS Abdomen
  • RDMS(OB) - ARDMS RDMS OB/GYN
  • RVT - ARDMS Registered Vascular Tech
  • ARRT(S) - ARRT Sonography
  • ARRT(VS) - ARRT Vascular Sonography
  • RVS - CCI Registered Vascular Specialist with a minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography.

If qualifying with an ARDMS or ARRT certification, an additional certification/specialty is required:

  • RDMS(AB) - ARDMS RDMS Abdomen
  • RDMS(OB) - ARDMS RDMS OB/GYN
  • RDMS(BR) - ARDMS RDMS Breast
  • RDMS(FE) - ARDMS RDMS Fetal Echocardiography
  • RDMS(PS) - ARDMS RDMS Pediatric Sonography
  • RDCS(AE) - ARDMS RDMS Adult Echocardiography
  • RVT - ARDMS Registered Vascular Tech
  • ARRT(S) - ARRT Sonography
  • ARRT(VS) - ARRT Vascular Sonography
  • RVS - CCI Registered Vascular Specialist
