Role Overview
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, verifying, and testing a variety of technical assemblies, ranging from component builds to fully integrated systems, under the guidance of engineering and scientific personnel.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret assembly drawings and bills of materials accurately.
- Complete all relevant documentation punctually.
- Maintain regular communication with production leadership regarding any issues that may impact production timelines.
- Adhere to assembly data sheets and instructions.
- Operate both automated and manual equipment as required.
- Manage various raw materials and provide suggestions for product or process improvements.
- Engage in the manufacturing of raw materials, including glass fabrication.
- Execute all other duties as assigned by management.

Critical Competencies for Success
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to work with a microscope is essential.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- 0 - 3 years of manufacturing experience or a combination of experience and education is preferred.
- Must be able to operate with minimal supervision and possess strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English.
- Team-oriented mindset is necessary.

Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting of boxes up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent bending, walking, and mobility are necessary.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop/bend, and reach is required.
- Vision must be adequate for microscope work.
