Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator to join our team at our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely operating complex and standard high-speed production equipment, maintaining inventory of packaging materials, and completing workorder documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate both complex and standard high-speed production equipment
  • Maintain inventory of packaging materials
  • Complete workorder documentation
  • Perform quality checks
  • Clean equipment and the production environment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months prior manufacturing experience
  • Good written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
  • Experience with tools and equipment related to the position or experience as a Sr. Production Equipment Operator
About the Opportunity

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.25 - $36.45 per hour, depending on location. Our Altavista, VA location is one of our largest nutrition manufacturing plants, equipped with advanced technology to ensure efficient production.
