Job Title: Therapist

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Job Summary:

The Therapist will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. You will utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following established safeguards.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents achieve their goals.
  • Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
  • Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following established safeguards.
  • Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation and treatment.
  • Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
  • Participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health.
  • May be asked to supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care, treatment, or other services.
Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
