Key Responsibilities
As an OB/GYN Physician, your primary duties will include:
- Assessing and diagnosing both normal and abnormal conditions related to the female reproductive system, including pelvic pain, hormonal issues, and infections.
- Utilizing advanced screening and diagnostic techniques for gynecological cancers, performing biopsies, and conducting colposcopies.
- Providing preventive care and health education to female patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic.
- Interpreting laboratory results and clinical findings to develop appropriate treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Conducting abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasounds as part of patient assessments.
- Engaging in the training and education of medical staff within the department.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Possession of a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid, unrestricted medical license from a U.S. state or territory.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting, including at least one year of supervised practice.
Additional Information
For those with foreign medical degrees, an evaluation of educational credentials is necessary to ensure equivalency with U.S. standards. This position is eligible for recruitment or relocation bonuses, and a thorough review of qualifications will be conducted during the selection process.
