Genetic Counselor

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Genetic Counselor to join our team. As a Genetic Counselor, you will play a critical role in providing patient and family counseling, research, and coordination of specialized care.

• Provide genetic counseling services to patients and families, including counseling on genetic testing and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct interviews and gather medical history to inform genetic counseling and testing recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families to provide ongoing support and education.
• Stay up-to-date on current developments in genetics and genomics to provide the most accurate and effective care.

• Master of Science degree in genetic counseling or related field.
• Licensure for practice as a Genetic Counselor in the state of Utah.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
