Key Responsibilities:

Job Purpose

The Servers are vital in guaranteeing that members and guests enjoy a remarkable dining experience. The ideal candidate is attentive, welcoming, possesses a sense of urgency, and has prior experience in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Welcome and seat members and guests
  • Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the point-of-sale system
  • Suggest menu items
  • Communicate any food allergies or special dietary requirements to kitchen staff
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled promptly, accurately, and meet quality standards
  • Provide attentive service by refilling drinks as necessary and checking on the needs of members and guests during their meal
  • Quickly address service issues and escalate to management when required

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment preferred
  • Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages; applicable state certification must be provided if required by law
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with cash handling
  • Familiarity with sales techniques
  • Understanding of liquor and smoking regulations
  • Ability to recognize signs of intoxication
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), along with excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in operating a calculator, cash register, and/or point-of-sale system

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Workdays and hours will vary based on scheduling and business needs.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts will be required.
  • While performing the duties of this role, the employee may need to stand for extended periods, walk, read, hear, speak, balance, climb, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push, or pull. The employee may also be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

$8.95 plus tips
