We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LPN Unit Manager to join our team at Bear Canyon Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, NM. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage and provide safe patient care.
- Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Identify educational needs of staff and develop training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Oversee medication management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide direct patient care, maintaining skills and expertise in a fast-paced environment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state.
- At least one year of nurse management experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- A competitive hourly rate of $34 - $37.
