Tact Staff is actively seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to fulfill a travel nursing position.

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Client Expectations: Candidates must be prepared for immediate start dates, with no time off allowed within the initial weeks. Experience with fresh post-operative kidney transplants and complex cases is essential. A minimum of two years of experience is required, with three years for first-time travelers.

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Preferred Certifications: NIH

Essential Skills: IV starts, telemetry
Preferred Skills: PA lines

This unit operates as a true PCU, necessitating a high skill level for managing patients with moderate to high risks for dysrhythmias and those requiring ongoing interventions and assessments every two hours. Familiarity with special equipment such as Swan Ganz catheters is advantageous.
