Laser Screed Technician

B&B Concrete is seeking a skilled Laser Screed Operator to join our team

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the precision and quality of our concrete work. Your expertise with laser screeding technology will be essential in achieving smooth, level surfaces for various construction projects.

• Calibrate and maintain laser guides to ensure accurate leveling and grading.
• Set up and operate 3D mapping systems to guide the screed machine.
• Operate the laser screed machine, meticulously controlling depth, grade, and finish for optimal concrete placement.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment to guarantee its proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by properly storing tools and materials at the end of each shift.

• Proven experience working with concrete, demonstrating a strong understanding of its properties and handling techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.
• A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate effectively with the team are highly valued.
• Previous managerial experience is a plus but not required.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, sitting, lifting, and carrying objects for extended periods. The work environment may expose you to varying weather conditions and construction site hazards.
