This role is crucial for the design and development phases of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the selection of production hardware for various initiatives.
- Utilize iBwave software to develop and validate RF designs.
- Examine and approve construction documents, including system block diagrams, wiring schematics, rack elevations, and conduit/cable routing plans.
- Draft and validate product specifications and associated documentation.
- Create scope of work documents and specifications for equipment procurement.
- Evaluate vendor data sheets to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Lead and coordinate teams of Engineers, Designers, and Drafters.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Outstanding collaboration, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in RF design development and validation.
- Proficiency in using iBwave software.
- Effective leadership skills with experience in managing engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in wireless communications, focusing on In-Building Cellular and Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna Systems is required.
- Willingness to travel as necessary is required.
Physical Demands:
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
