Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician directives.
- Conduct thorough OB/GYN sonography exams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Provide clear instructions to patients to ensure cooperation and optimal test results.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to prescribed safety standards and protocols.
- Ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Organize and maintain examination rooms and work areas, including ordering and stocking ultrasound supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the ultrasound department and the organization.
- Accurately maintain department records, reports, and files as required.
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
- Collaborate effectively with the ultrasound department and other departments to achieve shared goals.
- Document work processes and procedures as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registration in OB/GYN Sonography.
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
