Job Summary: The Social Worker provides medical social casework to patients and families, focusing on meeting their psychosocial and continuum of care needs. This role involves direct care services, consultation, education, policy and program planning, continuous quality improvement, advocacy, and liaison with the community.

Requirements: A Master's degree in Social Work is required, along with a current Social Work license in the state of South Dakota. A valid driver's license and insurability by Avera Health's automobile liability insurance carrier are also necessary.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with 80 hours worked every two weeks.

Pay: The hourly range for this position is $43.50 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
