About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Galaxy Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the conformity of our products and prototypes with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany product and prototype development, as well as customer projects, to ensure conformity with regulations and standards.
  • Advise and support engineers in all conformity issues, ensuring that our products meet the required standards.
  • Continuously improve and expand product conformity management processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Test and accept welding assemblies in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive and relevant standards, as well as review manufacturer documents and quality assurance of internal plant documentation.
  • Moderate risk assessments according to the Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directives, and act as a liaison between project management and notified bodies.
Requirements
  • A technical university degree, ideally from a university of applied sciences or technical university, with a focus on process engineering or pipeline and plant construction.
  • Several years of work experience in quality management in plant or pipeline construction, or at a testing institution.
  • Experience in moderating risk assessments according to DIN EN ISO 12100.
  • Basic knowledge of CE conformity assessment and common EU directives (MRL 2006/42/EC, DGRL 2014/68/EU) in plant or pipeline construction.
