Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Soccer Coach to join our team at Canlan Sports. As a Lil' Kickers coach, you will be responsible for leading fun and engaging soccer classes for children aged 18 months to 9 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality soccer classes that promote physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of children with varying skill levels and abilities.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages children to try new things and build their confidence.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and any important updates.
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your coaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous coaching experience is not required, but a passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering high-quality programs is essential.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to participate in soccer activities and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the class.
  • Availability to commit to coaching for the duration of the season.
