About the Role

This Certified Surgical Technologist position is responsible for providing expert assistance to surgeons during operative and invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
  • Verify accuracy of patient identification and surgical site markings, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including anesthesia use, medications administered, and any complications that may arise.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
  • Certified in Basic Life Support and current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in an operating room environment

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional compensation for certifications and qualifications.
