Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our food preparation team at Kewadin Casinos. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food products, including soups, sauces, and entrees. You will work under the direction of the Lead Cook/Food and Beverage Manager to ensure that all food products are prepared in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food products in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure that food products are replenished and presented in a visually appealing manner
  • Monitor and maintain food temperatures and safety guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Cook/Food and Beverage Manager

Requirements:

  • Previous food preparation experience in a high-volume operation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Sanitation Certificate preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move quickly around the kitchen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
