Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician to join our team at Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc. As a Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our vehicles before they are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties with supervision using basic understanding of automotive concepts and theories
  • Read and understand repair orders
  • Safely operate shop equipment and tools
  • Complete Pre-Delivery inspection including detailing of all units ready for delivery
  • Take direction and perform high quality work meeting all Company standards
  • Maintain and protect company owned property
  • Shop tools/equipment to be used with care and returned in same condition as received
  • Follow Company safety protocol at all times and keep work area cleaned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year technical training or shop experience with supervision
  • Displays mechanical aptitude
  • Personal tools not required
  • Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License
  • Must have a positive, professional attitude
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position
  • Must have good manual dexterity
