Job Opportunity at UofL - Jewish Hospital
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and surgical needs.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and surgical procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in Operating Room nursing.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse, with a strong background in Orthopedic surgery.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
