Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team at Flatiron Construction. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and mitigating potential environmental liabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental procedures on construction project sites.
  • Train project work crews and management teams on environmental issues and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve project site environmental risks or discrepancies during daily site walks.
  • Advises project management on proper interpretation and implementation of environmental regulations and specifications.
  • Document, analyze, and report environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of environmental regulatory and compliance experience in the construction industry.
  • Expert knowledge of compliance with environmental regulations and new legislation.
  • Valid driver's license.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $113,000 - $145,000 per year, with a personal vehicle allowance of $750 per month.
