Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

Apex Systems is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide technical support for our IT clients in the Rohnert Park area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and networks, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
  • Document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.
  • Support and maintain user account information, including rights, security, and systems groups.
  • Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed.
  • Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent and entry-level to 3 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
