Software Test Automation Engineer

At Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG), we are seeking a highly skilled Automated Test Engineer to join our team in support of a large Department of Veterans Affairs nationwide program.
Estimated Salary: $93,725 - $114,650 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Strategy Development: Design and implement test automation strategies to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Test Automation Framework Development: Create and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Automated Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for various software applications, focusing on functional, system, regression, and integration testing.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and QA, to ensure seamless integration of automated testing into the development pipeline.
- Troubleshooting and Documentation: Troubleshoot issues, document defects, and maintain accurate records of testing activities.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong background in automation tool usage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, Selenium, Jenkins, and other relevant tools and technologies.
- Security Clearance: Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
