Job Description

Soliant is seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech and Language Specialist to support students' academic success and social development in a school-based setting.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid state licensure, and experience working with pediatric populations. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills through comprehensive assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
